What is Broadcast Journalism ?
"Newsroom" is the sign outside the door of the classroom. Inside the classroom the decor reflects the newsroom of a broadcast facility or a daily newspaper. Students are busy researching, writing and editing their news stories. TV monitors (or Internet streaming) are on the weather channel, CNN Headline News, C-Span in Washington D.C., or ESPN Sports. In the studio room next door the news over the door is a red light flashing "On-Air" when there is a show being produced.
